I was able to sneak away from the computer for a few minutes to have lunch with some friends from church. We met at the Belted Goat at Fearrington Village. The weather was mild and lovely, so we were able to eat outside. I had an excellent salad with roasted brussel spouts, sweet potatoes, dates and an interesting dressing. They are all such nice people. I would have liked to have hung out a bit longer, but duty calls. Back to the grind.
Yea, finally figured out I need to sign in with google to leave a msg on your blog! The salad sounds really good. I like a salad I get at an old fashioned restaurant here that uses a raspberry dressing, so good.
ReplyDeleteHope the kids, hubby and grandkids are all fine. Been some storms out your way, rain and such, and it sounds like more on the way, hope you are doing well! I enjoyed the awesome General Conference two Sundays ago, always a lift! I'm back to the grind helping my 2nd son out at his alpaca farm on Saturdays, until his farm hand is back from college sometime towards the end of next month. Was glad he put it off a couple of weeks so I could watch General Conference both days. Was sad no close to me Temple was announced but hope springs eternal, maybe in 6 months :P. I'm 2nd counselor in RS now, and it keeps me hopping!! Miss teaching the 3 and 4 year olds in Primary. :P
